If you require a passport urgently, HM Passport Office offer both a 1 day and 1 week priority service. Both require you to make an appointment with your nearest issuing office.
Costs for the priority service range from £103 to £137, depending on the service and type of passport you choose.
The Post Office Check and Send service is available for an additional £9.25. Although this is not a priority processing service, applications submitted using Check and Send are usually handled quicker.
